Situated a few miles north of Coalville at Thringstone is Grace Dieu Wood and Trail with around 2 miles of pathways in total.
Nearby (to the north) are the remains of Grace Dieu Priory and to the south-east is Cademan Wood and High Cademan. (197m.)
An area of pleasant woodlands with public rights of way which join the Ivanhoe Way in Cademan Wood and continue on to Whitwick and beyond.
The Bulls Head at the northern end of Thringstone makes a good base.
