Situated approximately midway between Coalville and Leicester this reservoir (owned by Severn-Trent) provides a pleasant round walk of approximately 2 miles with fine views, an abundance of bird life and the interesting East Midlands Shape Scuplture Trail meandering through the woods on the far side of the reservoir.
There are parking facilities, special facilities for anglers and situated just up the road is 'The Tipsy Fisherman' public house.
