Situated in Coalville, the Discovery Park is a great place to take the family with many interesting exhibits and outside big play experiments for the children.
Situated at the northern end of the site is The Grange Nature Reserve. Snibston Grange, (once the gardens of the site's Colliery Manager), was declared Leicestershire County Councils' first local nature reserve in May 1993.
The pools are heavily used for angling and due to this and their small size, there is little or no bird life living on them. There is about 1 1/2 miles of walks around the park and nature reserve.
