Oakthorpe Area

This page shows Saltersford Valley and Oakthorpe picnic areas.

Oakthorpe picnic area is on the site of the old Oakthorpe Colliery.

Very few remains of the colliery still exist. Just the bases of some old buildings and the blocks marking the sites of the shaft tops.
