At 802 feet, the summit of Beacon Hill is the second highest point in Leicestershire with fine views of the plains to the north and of Charnwood Forest to the south.
Near the summit a Toposcope points out the views in all directions along with distances.
There are two parking areas, toilets and several miles of pleasant forest walks.
